trap in the friendzone
One of the best things a girl can do is form a solid friendship with a guy, with no intentions of anything more. Guys have such a different perspective than girls do. Although the world may tell you that being “trapped in the friend zone” with a guy is a horrible thing, it’s really one of the most beneficial relationships a girl can have. It is such a blessing to know that I have a guy who will say exactly what he means, and not try to please or flatter me in my situations. An insight into the male mind can change your views and serve as a wake up call. Girls’ minds tend to feed off emotions and over analyzing, while guys are blunt and succinct. The best part is, you don’t have to spend every minute with this boy. You’re not dating him, so there are no ties or expectations! Knowing that you have a friend who you can always rely on no matter what just fills a heart with joy. I cannot emphasize how much of a necessity it is for a girl to have a genuine guy friend! Solely a “girl friend”, never a “girlfriend”.
